Faculty Development Programme Highlights Infographics and Research Collaboration
City University, in association with its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a Faculty Development Programme on 6 February 2026 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The programme focused on “Significance of Infographics, Contemporary Research Risks, and the Impact of Research Collaboration.”
The session was led by Dr. Saji Baby, Director, Centre for Excellence in Sustainability, Environment and Climate Change, MIT World Peace University. Addressing faculty members, Dr. Baby emphasized the growing importance of infographics as effective tools for visual communication in academic research. He discussed how visual data presentation enhances clarity, reach, and impact in scholarly publications.
The programme also addressed ethical and practical research risks, including data integrity, publication pressures, and reproducibility challenges. Dr. Baby highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary and collaborative research in improving academic quality and global research visibility. The session encouraged faculty members to adopt innovative communication strategies and collaborative approaches to strengthen research outcomes.
